I love the dead-lift exercise. Why? because it’s a great way to build lower extremity strength and power. It’s also very functional, think about lifting a laundry basket or wheel barrow. The knock on the dead-lift is that can be challenging to perform with good form and that it can be hard on your lumbar spine. I recommend the hexagonal bar to those who have a history of lower back issues as studies indicate that there is less strain on the lumbar spine with the hexagonal bar. Let me know if you have any questions?
